GiveSolar Website

This was my first-ever Squarespace website build — and it came out of a relationship that started somewhere else entirely. The work with GiveSolar began as a graphic design project; based on the quality of that work, I was given the opportunity to build the site, and from there, the success of the website ultimately led to GiveSolar becoming a full TDC client. That kind of evolution doesn't happen often, and it's one I'm proud to have played a direct role in driving. The site explores custom hover and scroll interactions throughout, features custom mega menus, a resource-linking form connected to key pages and project sections, and custom tabbed sections that present the different ways to donate alongside clear impact metrics for each giving level. The active and completed projects sections give donors and prospects a real sense of GiveSolar's footprint and momentum. As my first Squarespace project, this is where the foundational instincts for the platform were developed — learning what it could and couldn't do natively, and beginning to build the custom code toolkit that has since become central to my work. The site is currently being redesigned, which feels like a fitting way to mark how far the relationship — and my own Squarespace capabilities — have come.
